My Design Identity.

Hi, I'm Arvind. An industrial designer and user experience designer from Toronto, Canada.

I like to stay in a jovial mood 24/7,  it’s hard to catch me looking this serious. I recently gained an interest in understanding human behaviours and expanding on the possible solutions which unify the human experience in design. My journey as a professional has taught me to be open to exploring different opportunities and to absorb as much of the information that is given to me. I believe in treating everybody the way you like to be treated and that how something works is as important as how it looks.

I love all music. Usually you’ll catch me listening to some rap/rnb, South Asian, Spanish, or Srilankan Island mixes. Watching Sports such as Soccer, Cricket, Basketball and playing video games keeps me entertained in my spare time.

My Socials

-  I'll be streaming design content here! The knowledge being spread will always be sincere and from my heart, I'm not going to be cutting any edges with the beneficial advice being provided. Why pose about being humble on LinkedIn when everyone reading knows it's not sincere. I want the future of the design community to be a place where the unknown will support you more than the people whom you know personally. I just want to spread positivity with this message.

My Inspirations

“When you look at the stars and the galaxy, you feel that you are not just from any particular piece of land, but from the solar system.” “There are so many people who are arguing or fighting over issues which don't have much relevance. We must all realise it is not worth it.” -Kalpana Chawla.

Experiencing the effects of space would be just amazing, my childhood inspiration for life are teh astronauts Kalpana Chawla, Mae Jemison, Valentina Tereshkova, and Eileen Collins. I've  always been jealous of them, having the super power to look at earth and humanity in a different perspective. I believe in designing for humans and humans make mistakes, so we learn, listen, iterate, and design. Some competencies just stick with you throughout life, for me those competencies are creative thinking, self motivation, and problem solving.

My Role and Operation

When designing for the future we should understand the creative development process, technology, and business behind products. The experiences, systems, behaviors, brands, interactions, and services that we may design will have a great effect on people’s daily lives. Collaboration for a vision with great insight is the first step to developing a design process and operation.
